We entered the O50s 3rd XI competition in 2023

We won the National 3rd XI competition for 2025 with the final played at the start of 2026.

For season 2026 the competition has continued to expand and now contains 16 team (including some County 4th teams).

2024 Summary:

This was the second season for this team and they topped their group winning 6 of the 7 matches that were played. That put them into the quarter final of the Cup competition where they lost to Surrey who were 4th in the East group. However Surrey played an ineligible player so the team progressed to the semi-finals where they beat Kent and then the final against Essex which was abandoned and will be replayed at the start of 2025.

27 players played at least one match with Darren Williams, Brian Dunstan and Simon Dixon playing all 10. Andy Bennetts played 7 and Simon Hamilton, Anton Luiten and Adam Paynter 6.

2023 Summary:

This was the first season for this team and they were frustrated by the weather with 4 matches cancelled and another conceded. The team finished 6th in the 11 team competition but lost to Hampshire in the quarter final stage. Damien Trease scored 110 in that match, the first O50s 3rd XI century.
