O50s 2nd XI

Our O50s 2nd XI launched in 2017.

We joined what was then known as the Southern Counties Championship (SCC) which featured 11 counties - this became the O50s 2nd XI Championship in 2022. The competition has continued to expand and for 2026 has 30 county teams participating.

The team were runners up in the six team South West group with 3 wins from 6 completed matches. That placed them 14th in the combined league resulting in an away match v 3rd seeds Cheshire in the last 16 round. Cheshire won by 67 runs.

Skipper Jared Connop and Andre Otto played in all 7 matches. Adrian Pooley, Mike Blake and Jim Maunder played in 6 with Alex Johnson playing five. 28 players appeared in at least one match.

The highest score and only century was 129 by Andre Otto v Gloucestershire at Long Ashton
