O50s 2nd XI

Our O50s 2nd XI launched in 2017. 

We joined what was then known as the Southern Counties Championship (SCC) which featured 11 counties - this became the O50s 2nd XI Championship in 2022

In 2025 the competition will feature 30 counties across 6 regional divisions

2024 Summary:

The team were runners up in the six team South West group with 6 wins from 8 completed matches. That placed them 9th seed in the combined league resutting in an away match v Essex who were seeded 8th in the 2nd Xi Championship knockout last 16 round. Essex won by 7 wickets. 

Jim Maunder and Mark Harvey played in all 9 matches. Mark Southcott, Paul Clements and Kevin Horrell played in 8 with Johhny Smeaden, Jeremy Bradley, Carl Bicknell played in 7. 23 players appeared in at least one match.

The highest score was 98 by Jim Maunder v Dorset at St Austell. 

Best bowling was Mark Southcott 4-19 v Wiltshire at Perranporth

Highest partnership was 162 - Jim Maunder and Jeremy Bradley for the 1st wicket v Dorset at St Austell
