The highly anticipated Indoor Cup and Plate finals for the Women's Cricket season were held recently at the cricket centre, following a weather forecast that moved the matches indoors.

Tideford Ladies Cricket Team made a strong debut last week as they played their first-ever match against Boconnoc Ladies in a friendly encounter held at the picturesque Deer Park, Boconnoc. 

The finals day featured four top teams that had battled their way to this stage: Wadebridge, St Minver, Paul, and Penzance. Each team had earned their place through a season of intense competition, with the West league consisting of six teams and the East league hosting ten teams.
