Girls Complete Under-11s Cricket Activation Projects Across Cornwall

Four teams of girls from Roche, St Austell, Falmouth and St Erme have successfully completed their Under-12s Girls Cricket Activation Projects, marking an important milestone in the continued growth of the women’s and girls’ game in Cornwall.

Cornwall Cricket Board Hosts Women’s Club Forum to Shape the Future of the Female Game

The Cornwall Cricket Board (CCB) hosted a successful Women’s Club Forum on 2 December, bringing together representatives from across the county to support the continued development of women and girls’ cricket.

This session will provide an opportunity for players to showcase their skills ahead of winter squad selection, as well as meet the coaching team and gain an understanding of the programme structure for the upcoming season.

Girls Dynamos Activation Projects

The Cornwall Cricket Board (CCB) is currently offering cricket opportunities to over 70 girls under the age of 11 across the county through the ECB’s Dynamo’s Activation Project. The Girls Dynamo’s Activation Project is an initiative from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) designed to introduce girls to cricket from a young age. The ECB funds free, paid opportunities for girls to participate in cricket at their local clubs.

The Cornwall Women’s Indoor Hardball League is underway

The Cornwall Women’s Indoor Hardball League is underway, with six clubs competing this season. Werrington, Wadebridge, Perranporth, Helston, Truro, and Redruth have all entered sides into the competition. The league provides valuable opportunities for teams to play competitive cricket throughout the winter as well as during the summer season.

Cornwall Indoor Women’s Softball Festivals Off to a Great Start

The Cornwall Indoor Women’s Cricket Softball Festivals have enjoyed a lively and encouraging start since kicking off on October 1st. With a real focus on fun, inclusivity, and relaxed competition, the first five festivals have been well attended, with teams showing great progress and taking part in some really enjoyable games.

Truro Cricket Club have been crowned Women’s Hardball League champions for the third time in four years, adding the 2025 title to their previous successes in 2022 and 2024. This season saw Performance and Development Leagues merged into a single Women’s Hardball League
