The final round of fixtures on February 19th saw Redruth claim crucial victories over Perranporth and Helston, before their final match was conceded, confirming their status as this year’s champions.

The pre-Christmas sessions were held at the Cricket Centre in Truro, while the post-Christmas events took place at Lux Park in Liskeard, ensuring year-round playing opportunities for women and girls. A total of 16 clubs participated in the winter program, including four clubs either making their debut in the sport or returning after a break.

As part of this initiative, CCB has completed 40 hours of the Girls’ Dynamos Activation Project, engaging 66 young players across Cornwall. These sessions have taken place in six key locations, including Tideford, Menheniot, Saltash, Bodmin, Truro, and Camborne,

The Cornwall Women's Indoor Cricket League continued in thrilling fashion at the Cricket Centre on Monday night, as Perranporth and Redruth claimed crucial victories in their respective matches against Wadebridge and Truro.

Menheniot Cricket Club bounced back in spectacular fashion, securing victory in the third installment of the East Softball Cricket Festival. Joined by Callington, Liskeard, and first-time participants Mount Ambrose, the tournament showcased outstanding performances and team spirit.

The East Softball League festivals have been a huge success, with Callington and Tideford coming out on top in two exciting tournaments. After the great Truro Softball Festivals before Christmas, Cornwall Cricket Board brought the action to Liskeard’s Lux Park arena, where teams showed off their skills in some thrilling matches.

Week two of the Women’s Indoor Cricket League, held at Cornwall Cricket Centre Truro, saw some great action from all the teams involved. Truro strom to the top of the table whilst Werrington leapfrog Wadebridge with their first win to take second in the table.

The league features six competitive teams—Wadebridge, Werrington, Truro, Redruth, Perranporth, and Helston—battling it out from January through March. Each team will face every other team during the season, following the same format as the Cricket Board’s Sunday six-a-side indoor (mixed gender) league.
