Chris Chaplin RIP

It is with great sadness that I have the duty to inform you all, that Chris Chaplin passed away yesterday evening (27 February) at the age of 86.

Chris was, without doubt, one of the finest Cricketers to have represented Truro CC and Cornwall CCC.

A great character who continued to play until he was nearly 70 years old.

Chris will be having a memorial service at Carnon Downs Methodist Chapel on Friday 7th March at 2pm.

Bright colours are encouraged to be worn.

Following the service, the family have asked if Cricketers and people associated with Cricket would like to join them at Truro CC for a gathering and celebration to remember Chris
