For the third time this summer, the county saw a heatwave with week 11 of the Bond Timber Cornwall Cricket League played out in unbroken hot sunshine with temperatures hitting thirty degrees. In the Premier Division, the leaders Penzance followed up their Bradleys Vinter Cup win in the week with a four-wicket success at St Just in the Penwith derby.
