INDOOR FINALS EVENING
Indoor league finals 2024 where held on Sunday evening .
The start of the evening saw St Erme taking on Perranpoth in the first gripping semi-final .
St Erme set a good target of 95 from their 10 overs , J Evans top scoring 60 not out .
Perranporth took the chase right to the last ball needing 2 to tie and 3 for the win led by a great
innings by B Evans . Unfortunately he was unable to get the last ball away and was run out by K Van Rooyen giving St Erme the win .
The second semi-final saw Beacon take on Redruth . Beacon won the toss and put Redruth in, who set a defendable total
of 87 lead by a quick knock from Neil Stoddard . Beacon managed to chase down the target only losing the one wicket
with B James leading the way with 27 not out .
The Tier 2 Final saw Wendron play the St Austell sixers . The Sixers won the toss and decided to bowl .
Wendron got off to a fast start which continued throughtout their 10 overs setting a good 104 - 3
St Austell Sixers couldnt get their run chase going , losing regular wickets against tight bowling .
St Austell managed 65-5 from their 10 overs with 4 wicket haul from C Owens . WENDRON TIER 2 CHAMPS
Grand Final Beacon vs St Erme .
Beacon won the toss and decided to take the new ball and put St Erme in to bat
St Erme got off to a steady start losing both openers early , a couple of big overs at the end set a target of 74
Dan Foulds leading the way with 33 not out .
Beacon got off to a moderate start but a smart partnership between J Thomas 21 no and B James 26no saw
Beacon home in the 8th over to make Beacon Tier 1 Champs 2024
