An ECB level 3 coach, who has nearly completed his ECB Level 4 qualification. Chris has been coaching for the last 15 years in schools and on Cornwall’s elite youth and senior programmes. A former Somerset County 2nd XI/Academy player and an experienced Minor County player for Cornwall Chirs specialises in the holistic game, but for young people with an aspiration of getting up the playing ladder, Chris has the understanding of what it takes to get to Minor County and beyond.
An ECB Level 3 coach who has been coaching for the last 22 years within many different environments, from county juniors at U11s through to U17s boys and girls, clubs, 1:1 and group sessions and schools. A past Premier League player in Gloucestershire, now an ageing player in Cornwall at Wadebridge. Joe has a passion for passing on his experiences to anyone wanting to develop, especially with their batting and bowling.
An ECB Level 2 coach. Piran (also known as PK) has recently joined our team at Cornwall Cricket. He has been involved with County age group from the age of 8 and committed to obtaining his coaching badge as soon as he turned 18. He plays Premier league cricket for Redruth CC and helps run their large youth secton at the club and is a level 1 umpire. He is keen to pass on his knowledge in cricket having experienced it all, to the youth of Cornwall.
A Level 2 coach employed by Cornwall Cricket in April 2020, Kellie has excellent habits and skills as a coach. Kellie has experience within the women and girls game. As County Women's captain, Kellie has helped grow the participation in the girls game through into the county 13, 15 and 17 girls. Kellie has an excellent manner and will help all cricketers within their personal development.
All coaches who work for CCB are ECB qualified and hold the appropriate First Aid, Safeguarding and Child Protection certificates as well as a National Governing Body DBS Vetting Check. All coaches will have ECB Coaches Association Membership which provides them with the appropriate Personal and Public Liability Insurance.
Prices
One to One Coaching
Our coaches will work with you to meet with your every need, whether it be anything to do with batting or bowling, wicket keeping, even fielding can be worked on. Sessions will be tailored to you. You will be placed in challenging environments and taken out of your comfort zone at times, but this will be a positive environment where you are allowed to try things to succeed.
All One: One sessions will take place at the Cornwall Cricket Centre, Truro College, Truro, TR1 3XX
Coach hire £35.00 per hour
**(All prices include the cost of the net hire and use of bowling machine if required)**
Payment can be made on a session by sessions basis, but the CCB cancellation policy will stand.
Small Group Coaching (2-6 people in one net) for one hour
Hiring one of our coaches for your club sessions will be hugely beneficial to all your players involved, as the coach will not only manage and organise your session based around any particular needs you have but will introduce new ideas and routines that will inspire and enthuse your players.
Coach hire- £60.00 per hour
