Redruth, Wadebridge and Werrington Set for Women’s Softball League Finals Day
Cornwall’s Women’s Softball League Finals Day takes place this Sunday at St Erme Cricket Club, where Redruth, Wadebridge and Werrington will battle it out for the 2025 title in what promises to be a showcase occasion for women’s cricket in the county.
This season’s competition featured 17 teams, divided into three regional leagues: five in the West, six in the Mid, and six in the East. The winners of each league now progress to Finals Day, where they will compete in a round-robin format to decide the overall champions. If all three teams secure one victory apiece, net runs will determine the winner.

1:00pm – Werrington vs Redruth
3:30pm – Wadebridge vs Werrington

Cornwall Cricket extends its thanks to St Erme Cricket Club for hosting this year’s event. The club, which has ambitions to join the Women’s League next season, has made impressive strides in developing women’s and girls’ cricket. This year, St Erme launched regular ladies’ practice nights and proudly saw their Under-13 girls participate in two festivals.
