St Austell- Werrington 151-6 (A Hodgson 56 no, M Gribble 34; L Watson 3-15) lost to St Austell 153-7 (19.2) (D Jarman 54, M Bone 25, A Bone 23; A Hodgson 4-27, D Barnard 2-27) by three wickets. Player of the Match – Adam Hodgson.

Having lost three of the last four finals St Austell won the Clive Rosevear Hawkey Cup  for the first time since 2010.

Werrington made 151 for 6 at Wheal Eliza with 35 coming off the last two overs.

Liam Watson took 3-15 to reduce Werrington to 31 for 3.

 Mark Gribble made 34 before being fifth out at 85 in the sixteenth over.

In a needed late salvo Adam Hodgson hit 3 sixes to end on 56 and 2 sixes off four balls from Dan Barnard got the North Cornwall Club  to 151.

In the reply, St Austell were 80-2 at the halfway mark having lost Mike Bone for 25.

Dan Jarman went on to make 54 and Alex Bone 23.

Player of the match Adam Hodgson took 4-27 to set up a tense finish with 15 needed off three overs.

St Austell reached the target for the loss of seven wickets with four balls to spare.
