Gulval picked up a third trophy within 24 hours when they claimed the West Cornwall Evening League Challenge for the first time beating Sea View Old Boys by 42 runs at Helston. They were 13-3 after three overs but recovered well with Alex Ralph (34) and Paul Barnes (30) both retiring not out and Luke May (21) and Tom Redfern (28) boosted the total to an impressive 161. All five Gulval bowlers took wickets as Sea View Old Boys ended on 119-7 in the gathering gloom. Player of the Match Luke May took two wickets in his third over. Isaac Swan retired on 30 not out.
