The Premier League leaders St Just suffered a home defeat to Camborne who made 173-7 in their fifty overs. From 38-3 Simon Hosking made 44 before Liam Weeks hit 61. St Just lost regular wickets with only Neil Curnow (41) and Philip Nicholas (51) offering a threat in the 150 all out. Jamie Goldsworthy and Martin Jenkin took three wickets. Penzance have taken  over at the top but were made to work for a three-wicket win at Werrington, achieved with just a ball to spare. John Moon made 74 for the home side in their 219-8 with Greg Smith picking up 3-49. Christian Purchase (104) and Tom Wells (78) took Penzance to 180-2 at one stage but a late tumble of wickets set up an exciting finish. With the scores level former Werrington player Tom Dinnis hit a six off the fifth ball of the last over. Dan Barnard took 3-39. Callington were shocked at Truro to be bowled out for only 51 inside 18 overs.  Kyle Van Rooyen (6-33) and Robert Harrison (4-11) bowled unchanged. Scott Harvey (36no) knocked off the runs for the loss of one wicket. Redruth had a good home win over Wadebridge by 28 runs after being bowled out for 200. Ravindu Sembakutty made 55 and Pete Howells 34 not out. Charlie Ellis took 5-32. Matt Robins (23) and James Turpin (39) threatened but spin won the day with Ellis Whiteford and Craig Johnson sharing five wickets. St Austell romped to a nine-wicket home win over Grampound Road who were bowled out for 142. Chris Roberts made 38. Five home bowlers shared the wickets led by Angus Fosten with 3-19. James Carter made 70 and Mike Bone was unbeaten on 54 as the Saints won in the 27th over.

In County Division 1 Helston lost their first game in a thriller at Falmouth. Helston recovered from 118-5 to post 221-9 with Guy Leathley dominating the later proceedings with 72no. Falmouth were reduced to 115-6 but Harry Cobb (69no) and Charlie Campbell (38no) put on 110 to win the game. Leaders Hayle cruised to a ten-wicket win at Gorran in a game of only 35 overs. Matt Jacka had figures of 6-2-7-5 as Gorran were dismissed for 72. Ryan Pascoe (37no) and Marc Sweeney (32no) knocked off the runs in the ninth over. Elsewhere James Gool hit an unbeaten fifty as Beacon won at Newquay by seven wickets after being set 137. There were half-centuries for Ian Searle and Taylor Gerry as Werrington seconds made 221-6 at Lanhydrock.  Nick Ward then took 4-59 to secure a 62 run win despite Jake Carter’s 55. Paul had a five-wicket home win over Redruth seconds with Kameron Collins making 67 as they chased down the 173 target. There was a thrilling finish at St Erme for whom Jack Evans made 78 in their 173. Oli Geeves took 4-19. St Austell seconds were dismissed two runs short of victory with Tom Harris making 51. Elliot  Dodd claimed the final wicket, an lbw, to end with 3-30.
