Truro Cricket Club has secured victory in the Women's Performance League this year, marking a triumphant campaign for the team.

Throughout the season, Truro delivered several outstanding performances, including a commanding 139-run win over Grampound Road and an impressive 9-wicket victory against Redruth. Despite some matches being conceded by opposing teams, Truro's squad seized the opportunity to showcase their depth, with every player contributing to their success under the dynamic leadership of captain Izzy Newell.

Truro’s batting lineup remained consistent across the season. Rebecca Rowe shone with the highest individual score of 60 against Grampound Road, while Lorraine Fletcher added a crucial 50 against Redruth. Ashley Bridges also played a pivotal role, contributing key innings in the middle order and ending the season with a solid batting average of 19.5.

In the bowling department, Rebecca Rowe continued to lead the charge, taking 10 wickets at an impressive average of 11.5, including her best figures of 4/5. Lisa Harper was another standout, claiming 6 wickets and averaging a wicket every 11 balls. Izzy Newell and Lottie Bose also made valuable contributions with 7 wickets between them.

In the field, Georgie Sweet set the standard with three dismissals, including two catches and a run out, showcasing the team's all-around excellence.
