Tideford Ladies Cricket Team Debut in Friendly Match Against Boconnoc Ladies

Tideford Ladies Cricket Team made a strong debut last week as they played their first-ever match against Boconnoc Ladies in a friendly encounter held at the picturesque Deer Park, Boconnoc. 


Boconnoc Ladies, winning the toss, opted to bat first. The team finished their innings with a total of 294 runs for the loss of just four wickets. 
After a brief interval, the Tideford Ladies took to the field, ready to chase down the target set by Boconnoc. In the end Boconnoc took the win by 35 runs after the Tideford players finished on 259. 


The match was not only a significant milestone for the Tideford Ladies but also a celebration of women's cricket in the region.
