Callington III  81-3 (17.1) (J Moon 33no, Z Newton-Jenkins 18; J Wilkinson 3-14) by seven wickets.

Callington Thirds retained the Clive Rosevear Cup claiming a third title in four seasons.

They beat local rivals Luckett in the final by seven wickets with almost three overs to spare.

Blaze Eigenmann, Chris Simpson and  Alex Mortimore all bowled tidily and took three wickets each to bowl Luckett out for 79 in 18 overs.

Luckett skipper Andrew Hoskin top-scored with 21.

In reply, James Wilkinson took 3-14 but Callington were seen home by the Player of the Final James Moon who hit 2 sixes and 3 fours in his unbeaten 33.

 

Callington had beaten Lanhydrock in the morning semi-final by 35 runs after making 141 all out with a ball remaining.

After being 60-4 Eigenmann (5!) and Mohamed Durrani Zubair (23) added 70 for the fifth wicket.

David Harland took 2-15 from four overs. Lanhydrock opener Jamie Taylor made 36 before being the first out at 68.

That became 84-7 before Jason Hawke got 16 to see the hundred up.

Oscar Crichton (4-6) and Chris Simpson (3-2) did the damage.

 

Luckett comfortably won the second semi-final in quick time after dismissing Roche Seconds for only 57 in the fifteenth over.

Wilkinson took 5 for 4 from 3.2 overs. He then made an unbeaten 27 as Luckett won with 11 overs and nine wickets to spare.
