A message from the Club Chairman.

"It is with great sadness that the club has learned of the passing of our President, George Dengler. He died peacefully at home this morning.

George has been a key influence on the club for so long it feels almost inconceivable that he’s gone.

As a great player, committee member and President he’s always been there … and his commitment was never more apparent to us than even in his more infirm years he would be there in the wind, rain and cold shaking his head at another first-team batting collapse.

The word legend is overused these days - but that’s what George was … a man who stuck with the club through thick and thin.

Go well George.

Our thoughts and love are with you and your family".
