Get Set Weekend powered by The Cricket Collective, is live for registrations!

The Get Set Weekend has for many years been a pre-season focal point for clubs up and down the country. In 2023, over 20,000 volunteers got involved across England and Wales, supporting their clubs and local communities.

This year, the Get Set Weekend will take place on 23-24 March 2024, and we are encouraging clubs to register for the #GetSetWeekend using the short form on www.ecb.co.uk/getsetweekend .

The Get Set Weekend is powered by The Cricket Collective: the army of volunteers that make cricket happen. This season clubs are encouraged to use the Weekend not only to prepare their physical facilities and grounds but also to inspire new and existing volunteers to get involved at their local club. The ECB has produced a digital booklet and an interactive editable Task List to support this. The booklet includes advice on how to run a successful event, wet weather contingency plans, tips on creating welcoming environments, and new and improved social assets.

Following feedback received from CCBs and clubs after the 2023 Get Set Weekend, the ECB have agreed a partnership with Jewson where up to 1000 registered clubs*, can win store credit ranging from £25 to £500 to support them with their events over the weekend. Additionally, clubs will receive a #GetSetWeekend resource pack** in the post to help promote the activities, recruit new volunteers and decorate their club. The physical pack includes various sized posters, flyers, bunting and drinks coasters.
