Scorecard

It was an evening of contrasting weather at St Clare. Having begun in sunshine sea fog descended and by half-time there were concerns over the completion of the game. However, it cleared to a clear evening with the game going to the last over shortly before 9pm.

Two batsmen dominated with St Just skipper Neil Stanleick rescuing his side from 40-5 to post a creditable 156-7.

Constantine's ten players looked to be cruising to victory at 126-2 in the 13th over when Scott Kellow (93), having survived an earlier dropped catch,  holed out to Hayden Waters in the deep off the bowling of Stanleick.

In the gathering gloom wickets tumbled and with six required off the final over Ryan Harvey held his nerve.  He had  Dylan Reynolds caught just inside the cemetery boundary in what was almost a match-winning six.
