Kellie Williams says farewell as Women and Girls Development Officer
It is with great sadness that Cornwall Cricket Board say goodbye to Kellie Williams, our Women and Girls' Development Officer over the past few years. Kellie has been responsible for overseeing the growth of the female game since her time in post. In this time we have seen more women's sections starting up, more female coaches coming into the game and delivering within the club and county levels.
Kellie has also been instrumental in designing and delivering the women's 100 which has been a standout aspirational competition in Cornwall for all to play and watch. To the extent that this structure has been replicated in other counties across the country and was commended by the ECB as a great initiative.
Cornwall Cricket Board, and we are sure all the clubs Kellie has worked with, would like to wish Kellie all the very best for the future. Kellie will continue in cricket where she can, we hope that this is within the County Age Group and Coach Education programmes.
Thank you Kellie and Best wishes
