The Cornwall Cricket League is inviting spectators to attend the Finals Day of its Tribute T20 Kernow Crash competition for free.

The anticipated conclusion of the tournament will take place at Grampound Road Cricket Club on Monday, May 31st. Premier Division teams from across Cornwall will be battling it out for top spot, featuring: Callington, Wadebridge, Redruth and Penzance. The climax of the season promises to be an exciting day out for families and fans of the sport.

St Austell Brewery’s Tribute Pale Ale has been a proud sponsor of the competition since its inception in 2019. The brand has long held a strong relationship with Cornish Cricket and competitions that lie at the heart of local communities across the South West region.

Laura McKay, Head of Marketing - Beer & Brands, at St Austell Brewery, said: “We are thrilled to be sponsors of this exciting competition that has thrived in Cornwall since 2019. Tribute Pale Ale is synonymous with team sports and the Finals Day promises to be a celebration of what Cornwall’s cricketing talent has to offer. We look forward to witnessing a fantastic display, particularly after an extended period away from being able to attend live events.”

“With the pandemic having placed unprecedented financial strain and uncertainty on Cornish sport, at a grass roots and local club level, we’re so glad to be supporting the Tribute T20 Kernow Crash again this year.”

Mark Mitchell, Chair of Cornwall Cricket League, said: "Cornwall Cricket is excited and grateful for the continued support of St Austell Brewery and Tribute within the sponsorship of the Tribute T20 Kernow Crash, especially at this time when there have been significant challenges for all organisations during the pandemic. We’re very grateful for St Austell Brewery’s ongoing support.”
