Travel to Practice and Matches Policy
Cornwall Cricket Policy on Travel to Matches and Practice Sessions
The Cornwall Cricket Board’s policy is that parents or other responsible adults are responsible for transporting players to and from most matches and practice sessions.
On occasion the Board will arrange group transport to fixtures/festivals in a mini-bus or coach.
The implementation of this policy is not intended to exclude any player from participation and parents or guardians should contact the Board’s Safeguarding Officer if they have any problems with the transportation of players to matches or practice sessions.
Coaches and Managers will be responsible for children in their care when at a cricket club or on arrival at opponents’ cricket grounds. It is not the responsibility of the coaches or team Manager to transport or arrange to transport the children to and from the club of match.
