NCCA General Competition Rules 2025-2029

This document outlines the official competition rules for all National Counties Cricket Association (NCCA) fixtures from 2025 to 2029. It covers formats, player eligibility, match regulations, commercial expectations, and administrative responsibilities. All counties are expected to adhere to the rules herein to ensure fair play and smooth competition delivery.

The NCCA Board retains full discretion over all matters and reserves the right to amend these rules as needed.

Super 12’s format 

·      One ball will be used from 34 overs in One Day Trophy games

·      No balls in white ball cricket = 1 run 

·      No balls in red ball cricket = 2 runs 

·      Sanction for a bat not fitting through the bat gauge

 

T20 Playing Conditions:

Information regarding the new format for Super 12’s has been added at the start of the section, with playing conditions for the day, including days affected by rain.
