The lives were remembered of former Club Treasurer Douglas Nance, former County players Austin Weeks, Peter Barnicoat, Tony Ladner, Chris Chaplin and Vice Presidents Michael Fox and Mrs Marlene Reseigh.
There is a change to the top table of Cornwall County Cricket Club following the Club’s 122nd Annual Meeting held at Truro on 11 March 2025.
After 19 years in post Keith Hore JP retired as County Club Treasurer.
Kingsley Mortimore of Callington was elected the new Treasurer.
Keith Hore was made an Honorary Life Member of the Club.
The other Officers were re-elected.
Michael Weeks BEM retired as Hon Assistant Secretary but will continue as Club Archivist in a non-committee role.
Dave Eggins was elected Hon Assistant Secretary.
Joe White was elected to the Committee.

Over the season we used 15 players in the Championship, with eight (Smith, MacVicar, Bone, Blake, Ellis, Tryfonos, Leathley and Rowe) playing in all four games. There were championship debuts for three players – WWJ Rowe, BM Taylor, and CL Cooke. No player was capped.
Alex Blake made 312 runs at an average of 62.40, including the highest score of 160no. Paul Smith (133) also hit a century. Will MacVicar was the leading wicket-taker with 19 wickets at 15.26 each. He also had 10 wicket match figures (12-131) and the season-best of 8-46. The highest partnership was the 152 by Paul Smith & Ellis Whiteford for the county record tenth wicket against Cheshire.

In his financial report, Treasurer Keith Hore reported a deficit of almost £15k for the year.
On a positive note, it was encouraging to report significant progress as new sponsorships were being gained to redress the balance.
2024 Awards
The Canynge Caple Cup, for the outstanding player, was won by Will MacVicar.
The Canynge Caple Colts Cup was won by Billy Taylor.
The Arthur Lugg Cup, for outstanding services, was jointly awarded to Keith Hore JP and Michael Weeks BEM
The Donald Cocks Cup for fielding was won by Karl Leathley.
The Caerhays Cup, for the highest partnership of the season, was won by Paul Smith & Ellis Whiteford 152 for the 10th wkt v Cheshire
The Ron Tither Memorial Cup for Under 21 bowling was won by Joe Cockings.
