Truro – Somerset CCC 272-9 (MJ Leach 87, ARJ  Ogborne 51, KL Aldridge 47, JEK Rew 21; BA Ellis 2-32, MJ Lawrence 2-37, MM Tryfonos 2-77) beat Cornwall 177 (MM Tryfonos 46, WJJ Rowe 34; ARJ Ogborne 3-27, KL Aldridge 3-36, MJ Leach 2-8) by 95 runs.

England Test player Jack Leach spared Somerset’s blushes with the bat making 87 in a recovery from 49-5. Kasey Aldridge made 47 and Alfie Ogborne 51 as the cider county recovered well to post  272-9 in fifty overs.

Ogborne (3-27) then reduced Cornwall to 42-3 before Max Tryfonos (46) and Jake Rowe (34) got the total to 177 all out in the 38^th over. Aldridge completed a good game with 3-36.
