With more than a third of the playing time lost to the weather Cornwall's National Counties Championship game with Dorset petered out to a draw at Truro . Following a 12.15 pm delayed start Cornwall declared on reaching maximum batting points at 328 for 9.

Trailing by 152 runs Dorset made the game safe by reaching 271 for 5 when the captains shook hands at the start of the final hour.

After losing three wickets for 52 Joe Eckland and David Scott put on 152 for the fourth wicket.
