Cornwall’s NCCA Trophy game against Berkshire was abandoned as a ‘No Result’ when a heavy thunderstorm hit Slough just before four o’clock.

Berkshire had posted the big total of 319 for 7 and in reply, Cornwall were 52 without loss, in only the sixth over, when the storm struck.

Cornwall can still progress to the knockout stages if they win both remaining games, starting at Redruth, against Bedfordshire, next Sunday at noon.
