England are World Champions and the recreational game is riding the crest of the wave. Women’s cricket has never been in such a strong position in England and Wales as it is right now. Looking to build on this success, the ECB are aiming to support women involved in cricket through a number of national coaching conferences. Following the success of similar events over the past two years, we will be running a women’s coaching conference in TAUNTON.

Date:  8th April 2018
Venue: Taunton School

Cost: Just £5 per person, including lunch and refreshments

Aimed at women interested in, or already leading, teaching or coaching in schools, clubs and communities, the conferences will create a safe, fun and relaxed environment in which they can:

• Develop their coaching skills & knowledge

• Build a local support network

• Learn and share new ideas to engage with players

• Build confidence

• Share ideas and practices

The conference will be delivered by leading female coaches and former England players with support from the ECB Coach Development team and regional staff. With a mixture of practical sessions and discussion groups the focus will be on upskilling volunteers working in our clubs, schools and communities, with coaches of all levels welcome.
