31st July 2017 Posted in County and Cups and Latest and Over 50's and Women & Girls by Michael Weeks

It was a good day for Cornish cricket yesterday with the Mens and Women’s County teams and Penzance all doing well in National Competitions.

In Cornwall’s  Unicorns Counties Championship game with Herefordshire at Penzance play was delayed until three o’clock due to a damp ground. Cornwall recovered well from 95 for 4 to be 245 for 5 at stumps with Tom Rowe 134 not out and Matt Robins (57) pictured putting on 122 for the fifth wicket. Cornwall have 22 overs remaining with play starting at the earlier time of 10.30 this morning.
