As the Saturday night newspaper deadline has been advanced by TWO hours for 2019 it is just impossible to receive and get everything typed up and submitted by 7.30pm in time for publication.

Therefore the live Summary Results page will, as it stands,  update throughout Saturday evening and on Sundays


Premier League  Penzance win (244), Werrington win (217), Redruth win (214) – five games  to play

County 1:  Camborne win, Beacon win    Redruth win  – just 6 bonus points cover the top three with five games to play.


Penzance gained an eleventh successive victory to maintain their 27 point advantage over Werrington, with five games to play.


Grampound Road were dismissed for only 105 at St Clare and Penzance romped home by ten wickets in the 22nd over.


Werrington won at Falmouth by seven wickets after bowling the hosts out for 141. After a rain delay Werrington reached their Duckworth Lewis target of 111 for the loss of three wickets.


Redruth made 190 all out at St Austell.

In reply the Saints collapsed from 144 for 1 to 168 all out to lose by 22 runs.


Wadebridge made 224 for 8 at home to St Just in a match reduced to 40 overs.

St Just responded with 228 for 5 to win by 5 wickets with 10 balls to spare.


Callington’s home game with Truro was also reduced, to 42 overs.

Truro made 219 for 6. Callington were bowled out for 95 in reply.


In County Division the top three all won and Camborne, Redruth seconds and Beacon are covered by just six  points with five games to play.

Camborne 226 for 9 beat St Austell seconds 59 all out


Launceston 140 all out lost to Redruth seconds 141 for 6


Ludgvan 31 all out lost to Beacon 32 for 2


Troon 169 all out beat Lanhydrock 137 all out


Rosudgeon & Kenneggy 134 all out beat Helston 127 all out


Werrington seconds 216 for 8 beat Gorran 184 all out


Today Minor Counties Championship cricket returns to Redruth after a gap of 27 years.
