As the Saturday night newspaper deadline has been advanced by TWO hours for 2019 it is just impossible to receive and get everything typed up and submitted by 7.30pm in time for publication.

Therefore the live Summary Results page will, as it stands,  update throughout Saturday evening and on Sundays

 

Premier League  Penzance win (263), Redruth win (234) Werrington lose (218),  – four games  to play

County 1:  Camborne win (316),  Redruth lose (302) Beacon lose (299) – four games  to play

Penzance have increased their lead to 29 points at the top of the Bond Timber Cornwall Premier League with only four games remaining.

They won their top of the table clash at Werrington by eight wickets in a match reduced to 40 overs.

Werrington were bowled out for 98 and Penzance reached 99 for 2.

Redruth moved back to second after beating Wadebridge by seven wickets.

Wadebridge were bowled out for 130 and Redruth replied with 132 for 3.

Grampound Road won an important bottom of the table game beating Callington by six wickets.

Callington were all out for 146 and the Road replied with 147 for 4.

Falmouth remains bottom after losing at St Just by 59 runs.

St Just hit 222 all out and Falmouth ended on 163 for 8.

Truro made 142 at home to St Austell who won by six wickets after making 146 for 4.

 

In County Division 1 Camborne have opened up a 14 point advantage at the top of the table as they narrowly won the derby at Troon while nearest challengers Redruth seconds and Beacon both lost.

The results were:

Camborne beat Troon by five runs.

Helston beat Redruth seconds by 54 runs.

Werrington seconds  beat Beacon by one wicket

Rosudgeon beat St Austell seconds by 126 runs.

Gorran v Lanhydrock and  Launceston v Ludgvan were both cancelled.
