As the Saturday night newspaper deadline has been advanced by TWO hours for 2019 it is just impossible to receive and get everything typed up and submitted by 7.30pm in time for publication.

Therefore the live Summary Results page will, as it stands,  update throughout Saturday evening and on Sundays

90 of the League’s 142 teams have completed the season without a single cancellation!

County 1 : Werrington win their last 3 games (59 pts) (5 out of last 6)  and Launceston lose last three (14pts) (1 of last 6) to leave Launceston (240pts ) second from bottom tied with Ludgvan (240pts) but Ludgvan won the head to heads (26-12) – one was a cancellation.

On the final day of the Bond Timber Cornwall Premier League season the champions Penzance comfortably won their 16th consecutive game beating Wadebridge by eight wickets.

 

The other results were:

St Just defeated  runners-up Redruth by seven wickets.

St Austell beat Grampound Road by 105 runs

Truro won at  Werrington by two wickets.

Falmouth beat Callington by seven wickets.

 

 

In County Division One Werrington seconds have won 5 of their last 6 games to avoid relegation.

Launceston are in the bottom two for the first time, having won only one of their last six games.

 

The results were:

The champions Camborne  beat Beacon by 28 runs.

Werrington seconds beat Rosudgeon by four wickets.

Gorran beat Launceston by six wickets.

Redruth seconds beat Ludgvan by 101 runs

Troon beat Helston by five wickets.

and Lanhydrock beat St Austell by one wicket.

 

Elsewhere Hayle, Holsworthy and  St Ives all won their respective divisions yesterday

 

Today the Cornwall Women’s League will be decided when unbeaten Penzance and Grampound Road play each other with a 2pm start at St Clare.
