At the top of the LWC Drinks ECB Cornwall Premier League the gap between Penzance and St Just has been narrowed to just one point after both teams won yesterday.


Penzance made193 all out at Grampound Road who were bowled out for 161 in the penultimate over.


St Just won by six wickets at Helston. The home team were 144 all out. St Just replied with 145 for 4.


There was a dramatic finish at Truro with the home side getting 16 off the last over to tie the game with St Austell. Both sides made 204 for 9.


Werrington scored 154 for 9 at Falmouth and then bowled the hosts out for just 93 with Matt Robins taking 5 wickets for just 4 runs.


Hayle won by six wickets at Redruth who were all out for 165. Hayle responded with 166 for 4.



In County Division 1 there was an exciting finish in the top of the table clash with Wadebridge beating Camborne by three wickets with just two balls to spare. At the bottom there were important wins for St Minver and Werrington seconds.


The results were
Camborne 193 for 8 lost to Wadebridge 197 for 7


Callington 151 all out lost to St Minver 153 for 2


Roche 91 all out  lost to Werrington 95 for 3


Rosudgeon 200 all out beat  Gorran 204 for 4


Ludgvan 105 all out beat Lanhydrock 33 all out


Newquay 123 all out lost to Troon 125 for 3


Today Penzance replay their NatWest Club T20 Area Final at Torquay at 1pm
