At the half way mark of the LWC Drinks Cornwall Premier League season just 17 points cover the top four teams after leaders Penzance suffered their first defeat of the season.
They lost at St Austell by 63 runs
Hugh Parkinson made 70 as St Austell made 194 all out.
Penzance were reduced to 76 for 6 with county spinner Andrew Libby taking all six wickets for 20 runs.
They were eventually dismissed for 131.
St Just are now 11 points behind after beating Camborne by nine wickets.
Camborne recovered well to make 201 for 9.
St Just cruised home however reaching 204 for one after Ross Pawson made 107 off 64 balls.
Truro move above Werrington to fourth spot after ending the North Cornwall club’s five match winning run.
Faiz Fazal took 5 for 40 as Werrington were bowled out for 118.
Truro responded with 122 for 1 in the 23rd over.
Grampound Road were bowled out for 147 at Callington with Harry Sawyers taking 5 for 23.
Callington won by three wickets reaching 151 for 7.
Falmouth narrowly beat Wadebridge by 10 runs after scoring 227 for 7.
Wadebridge were bowled out off the final ball for 217.
In County Division 1 the top four teams all had convincing wins while Launceston got their first victory of the season.

Rosudgeon 327 for 4 beat Newquay 107 all out
Beacon 237 all out beat Lanhydrock 158 all out
Werrington seconds 88 all out lost to Troon 89 for no wicket
Launceston 265 all out beat St Erme 208 all out
Redruth seconds 300 for 7 beat Roche 176 all out
Today the Isaac Foot Cup Finals Day takes place at Callington from 11am.
The Cornwall Women’s T20 games due to be played at Redruth were cancelled earlier in the week.
