TRURO extended their lead at the top of the LWC Drinks ECB Cornwall Premier League with a 34 run win in a high scoring top of the table game with WERRINGTON at Boscawen Park.
Truro made 303 for 8 with Conor Miles hitting 84. Werrington were all out for 76 with Nick Lawson getting 76.
St Just won by three wickets at Falmouth after the home side recovered to 117 all out. St Just made 118 for 7.
Penzance also recovered to make 177 for 9 in a 45 over game at Redruth. They won by 33 runs as Brad Wadlan took 5 for 31 to bowl the Reds out for 144.
Helston made 230 at home to Hayle and won by 30 runs as Hayle responded with 200 for eight.
The Grampound Road and St Austell game was abandoned after one over of the second innings when the umpires ruled the pitch ‘unfit’. St Austell had been bowled out for 98 and the Road were 9 for 1.
In County Division 1 the leaders Camborne lost their unbeaten record and bottom side Roche won for the first time. The results were:

Today sees the Treleavens T20 County Trophy at Truro Cricket Club with Cornwall, Devon and a Somerset XI competing.
