In yesterday’s LWC Drinks Cornwall Premier League St Just took over in second spot after beating Redruth by 198 runs at Cape Road.
They trail leaders Penzance, who had a bye, by only 7 points ahead of next week’s clash at St Clare.
St Just made 302 for 4 with Neil Curnow making 129 not out.
Redruth were all out for 104 in reply.
Callington made 152 for 7 in a 38 over game against Werrington who won comfortably by eight wickets making 154 for 2.
Falmouth made 186 for 9 at home to Truro.
Truro eased home by seven wickets with Scott Harvey making 83 not out.
At St Austell the home side hit 243 for 7 in a 48 over game.
Grampound Road were all out for 152 to lose by 91 runs.
James Turpin hit 160 not out as Wadebridge made the big score of 295 for 7 at home to Camborne, in a game reduced to 45 overs.
Camborne responded with 212 for 5 to lose by 83 runs.
In County Division 1 Helston are the new leaders after beating Beacon by 7 wickets with Eben Koekemoer making 169 not out.

Today Cornwall complete their Unicorns T20 campaign with two games against Wiltshire at Calne.
Cornwall Women are also in action in a full day at Truro Cricket Club with games against Devon and Oxfordshire starting at 10.30am.
