Penzance win the Vinter Cup

Penzance won the Bradley’s Vinter Cup for the third year in a row beating Falmouth by 65 runs at Camborne.

Penzance hit the second highest ever final score of 184 for 5 with Tommy Sturgess winning the Man of the Match Award for his 66, which included 8 sixes off just  28 balls.

He was out at the end of the eighth over with 89 on the board.

Bradleys Vinter Cup Final

Camborne – Penzance 184-5 (T Sturgess 66, G Smith 32, J Paull 32no, A Angove 20; S Kellow 2-25, R Kellow 2-29) beat

Falmouth 119 (G Stone 40; D Blignaut 3-12, T Wells 3-17, J Ludlam 2-16) by 65 runs.
