Dorset v Cornwall T20

9th June 2019 Posted in County and Latest by Michael Weeks

Cornwall lose by 21 runs to effectively end their hopes with Wiltshire defeating Wales MC at Warminster.

In the second game they were well beaten by 52 runs with, ironically, former Cornwall player Sam Young top scoring.

Cornwall’s clash against Devon next Sunday at Instow is now for pride only.

Wiltshire’s second game against Wales was abandoned as a No Result so Dorset look firm favourites to qualify for Finals Day as even if they lose twice to Wiltshire next week they start with a superior net run rate.
