Cornwall won the toss and elected to bat at North Perrott. After a good start  reaching 60-0 and 141-4 Cornwall collapsed to 146 all out, losing their last six wickets for just five runs. Former Leicestershire spinner Jigar Naik took 7 for 22 from 22 overs that included 14 maidens.
