Specific to Club Welfare Officers, this three hour course will provide you with the knowledge to manage situations in the club relating to child welfare. These courses are delivered by an external tutor so will only be run on an annual basis in Feb/March time:
Safeguarding and Child Protection (Sports Coaching) – Child Welfare Officers must attend one of these courses prior to attending their Safe Hands Course. This certificate lasts for three years. This is a requirement for Clubmark Accreditation

All courses run from 6.30 – 9.30pm and are £30 per person
To complete this course you must have done, once, the three hour sit down Safeguarding Child Protection course (above) or have attended the Children’s Coaching Certificate. If you have not please do not register. You will need to book onto the Safeguarding Course as delivered by the Cornwall Sports Partnership (above).
Safeguarding Young Cricketers is an online course and is FREE.
If you are an existing coach and want to refresh your Safeguarding Young Cricketers certificate, please click the link to apply for the course.
