The weather had the final say with 30 matches cancelled, 27 played and 1 conceded. 25 matches cancelled in the east and 5 in the west.

With the Premier season complete the rest of the LWC Drinks Cornwall League concluded on Saturday with plenty still at stake.

Wadebridge needed five points to take the County One title. Only Camborne, who are guaranteed runners up spot, could catch them.

Rosudgeon – Rosudgeon 122 (M Jacka 35no, B Ellis 31,extras 27; N Endean 4-29, S Pooley 3-19) Camborne 123-5 (L Weeks 39no, K Roberts 24, B Edwards 20; C Harrison 2-17, M Jacka 2-29) Camborne (20 points) beat Rosudgeon (five) by five wickets.

Gorran v. Roche; Lanhydrock v. Wadebridge; Newquay v. Ludgvan; Troon v. St Minver, and Werrington  v Callington. Matches cancelled; six points each. Wadebridge win the title.

In addition to County One there were still six other divisions up for grabs.

In Division Two East Launceston led St Erme by five points ahead of their final day clash.

All matches cancelled; six points each. Launceston win the title.

Tideford had a 12 point advantage over Ladock in division three and Holsworthy had already won division four.

Wadebridge  – Wadebridge 115 (R Centeni 38; J Skinner 23; M Liddicoat 3-27, T Rosevear 2-25, J Semple 2-16, H Blamey 2-11), Gorran 117-7 (J Semple 32; J Sander 2-20, S Gerry 2-22). Gorran (19 points) beat  Wadebridge (five) by three wickets.

Liskeard v. Ladock; Luckett  v Tintagel; Saltash v Tideford and Werrington v St Neot. Matches cancelled; six points each. Tideford win the title.

 

In Division Two West  Beacon led Redruth seconds by nine points.

Beacon –  Beacon 276-6 (D Mellor 99no, J Gool 79, D Proctor 48; P Kent 3-38, G Furnival 2-47), Penzance 139 (T Hutton 36, P Kent 20; J Thomas 5-27, K Thomas 2-34). Beacon (20 points) beat Penzance (six) by 137 runs.  Beacon win the title.

Hayle seconds had a five point advantage over Gulval in division three

Mullion – Hayle 140 (L Bennet 39; J McCloud 6-33, M Cockings 2-43), Mullion 106 (D Brown 21; M Lello 3-14, S Trathan 2-20, L Bennet 2-20, M Smitheram 2-30). Hayle (18 points) beat Mullion (seven) by 34 runs. Hayle win the title.

and in division four St Buryan and Truro thirds were level on 305 points, but St Buryan won the two head to head games (38-14) in the event of a tie breaker being required.

St Gluvias  – St Buryan 224-7 (T Cotton 79, C Phillips 36, T Redfern 30; A Julian 4-41), St Gluvias 111 (A Julian 27, M Snowdon 21; K Williams 4-19, M Odendaal 2-31, C Phillips 2-33). St Buryan (20 points) beat St Gluvias (five) by 113 runs. St Buryan win the title

Truro – Paul 53 (F Bareham 4-16, C Phillips 4-16, M Atkins 2-14), Truro 56-5 (J Bose 20; J Edwards 3-10). Truro (18 points) beat Paul (three) by five wickets

The one Division five to be determined was 5 Fal where Stithians seconds led Redruth thirds by five points ahead of their clash at Trewirgie.

Redruth – Stithians 116, Redruth 120-4. Redruth (20 points) beat Stithians (four). Redruth win the title.

St Ives II’s, Veryan, Lanhydrock II’s and Milton Abbot have won the other divisions.
