Day 1 Cornwall made 3 changes with Conor Miles (Cornwall Championship debut), Jordan Thomas and Alex Ridd (County debut) replacing Greg Smith, Antony Angove and Justin Stephens.  

Day 2 - 14.52 Devon Inns Closed 404-9 (90) - lead of 118. Zak Bess 166no in a recovery from 118-6.

Cornwall then dismissed for 158 in 33.2 overs (Wadlan 38, Miles 25, Purchase 21; Zak Bess 5-35).

Devon only needed 27 balls to knock off the 41 required to win at 18.10 on the second evening. 

The result would have confirmed Berkshire as champions, had they not beaten Dorset a few minutes earlier themselves to clinch the title. They bowled Dorset out for 96 and 84  to win by 327 runs. Cornwall have finished Western Division runners up however for only the second time following 2009. Winners in 2012..

Day 1 Cornwall collapsed from 33-0 to 65-7 and following lunch the last three wickets fell in three overs. Tom Nugent 15-6-26-6. Berkshire then made hay in the sun racking up 325 for 6 in 64 overs before declaring on gaining maximum bonus points. In the 25 minutes before the close Cornwall lost skipper Matt Robins to the third ball of the innings.

Day 2 Rain started falling around 9am and play was abandoned for the day at 12.45pm. 10.30am start on Day 3.

Day 3 Cornwall’s Unicorns Championship game with Berkshire was abandoned as a draw this morning.

 The heavy rain of the previous 24 hours made the Grampound Road ground unplayable and the umpires made the decision at eleven o’clock.Berkshire took 12 points and Cornwall 6. Just before 5pm  Shropshire beat Cheshire by 70 runs to go back to the top of the table. With one game to play they have 93 points with Berkshire on 88 and Cornwall in third spot on 83.

   Day 1 at Truro Cloudless sky and hot sunshine. Dorset won the toss. Lunch Dorset 95-4 (41) Turpin 3-17. All at 15.39. Dorset 175 (MJ Porter 93no; JR Turpin 4-37, BL Wadlan 3-23, AD Angove 2-35).  At the close  Cornwall had reached 169 for four. Matt Robins made 48. Christian Purchase is 35 not out and Greg Smith also unbeaten on 31. Cornwall have a further 49 overs available to build a first innings  lead

 Day 3 Dorset lost their last six wickets for 38 runs in 75 minutes. Smith 5-43, Libby 3-65. Cornwall's second innings win of the season - previous ones were 2005 and 1968. Shropshire were defeated by four wickets against Berkshire at Shifnal to see Cornwall return to the top of the table by a point (77), ahead of Berkshire (76) who they play next at Grampound Road.

 Day 1 at Bridgnorth - Cornwall elect to bat but lose early wickets - 84-6  recovering to 134-6 at lunch (G Smith 48* & J Turpin 17*). Bowled out at 15.50 for 245  (75.1 overs) G Smith 92, M Rowe 33, J Turpin 32, A Libby 28 . Shropshire 155-4 off 56 overs at the close. Smith 2-46 off 19 overs. Libby 1-46 off 21 overs. 

Day 2 Shropshire 253 all out  at 12.15pm  giving a slender lead of eight runs. Libby 5-93, Smith 3-65. Cornwall recovered from 106-5 to bat over 97 overs making 252 all out five minutes before stumps.. Matt Rowe batted at six due to a finger injury and was last out for 67.

Day 3 Set 245 Shropshire slipped form 57-0 before a fifth wicket stand of 150 decided the match. Jordan Thomas (2-40) picked up two late wickets to add to Andrew Libby's three for 58. Shropshire overtake Cornwall to move to the top of the table with three straight wins.

 Cornwall were set 245 in a minimum of 46 overs, that became 53 overs. They still required 53 off the last 9 overs. They effectively won by 3 wickets as Christian Purchase returned home before the start of the third day for 'family reasons'.
