DEL CODD Funeral Arrangements

Penmount Crematorium, Truro

 Thursday April 27th at 3.00pm.

There is also an open invitation to all those attending to join the family at Perran ar Worthal CC following the service.

At the request of the family there will be NO flowers, should anybody wish to make a donation, this will be collected on behalf of The RNLI.

It is, with very deep regret, that we have to announce that Del Codd passed away, peacefully, at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, in the early hours of this morning (Friday 14th April), following a short illness.

Del was an extremely active member of the Cornwall Association of Cricket Groundsmen and was more than happy to pass on his vast experience to all Club Groundsmen. When running his own business he had helped very many clubs in both acquiring and maintaining their machinery.

He was also a highly respected member of the LMC Committee which he had served for many years, having  joined in 2002.  In addition he had carried out a great deal of work at both Chacewater and Perran ar Worthal Cricket Clubs.  He was also a much respected Umpire and freely officiated in many Evening Finals. For a number of years he ran and officiated the CCL Indoor 6 a side when it was held at Redruth School. In the world of Cornish Cricket he will be greatly missed.

We are sure that our thoughts are strongly with both his wife Pat and family at this very sad time.
