Vic Hassell stood down in December as the Director of Cricket.
The former Director of Administration, Chris Leathley, was elected Director of Cricket.
The former Cornwall Association of Cricket Officials Board Member, Rodney Fine,was elected Director of Administration.
The following proposals were passed.
1 The Representatives of Member Organisations shall, from this Meeting onwards, be described as such in the Articles. They shall not be considered to be Directors of the Board for the purposes of the Companies Act.
2 The Board shall create the position of Chairperson, to be elected as soon as is practical. Such person shall retire at the third annual general meeting following their election.
3 The position of Chair shall be an independent individual, elected from outside of the current Board.
4 The Board shall create the position of Non-Executive Director, to be elected as soon as is practical. Such person shall retire at the third annual general meeting following their election.
5 The position of Non-Executive Director shall be an independent individual, elected from outside of the current Board.
6 With the proviso that no-one shall be able to vote for a position for which they have been nominated, the Electorate for positions on the Executive and any Chair or Non-Executive Director shall consist of the representatives of member organisations, plus the Executive Directors.
7 That, in the Articles of Association, Rule 11.4 be rewritten: “any organisation or nominated person (as in 11.3, above) shall be entitled to nominate a deputy to act as the representative of that organisation at any meeting of the Company.”
